COINTEND Symposium takes place

Last Friday marked the first COINTEND Symposium, chaired by Jelle van Dijk - a wonderful day featuring inspiring talks by Rachel Chen, Remi and Dorea from Mentaal Klassikaal, and Wouter Staal, around the theme of neuro-inclusive social interaction between neurodivergent children and the people close to them.

The symposium also included workshops led by Jelle van Dijk, Lara Oral, Harm Damen, Joep Kolijn, Lana Jelenjev, Erna Dogger, Anita Cremers, Rosa de Vries, Annoëlle van Hooff, and Janna van Grunsven - encompassing a broad range of topics such as co-design, embodied interaction and technology, communication, virtual reality, and home versus school contexts. During the symposium, visitors could also explore interactive demos, including the CRDL (Dennis Schuivens, Jack S C Chen), the Spiegelstem (Simon van der Linden, Joanneke Weerdmeester), and the Millow (Rosa de Vries).

A shout-out to Annika Meijs and Roosmarijn Luijtenaar for their crucial role in organising this symposium, as well as everyone else who contributed to making it possible. Thank you!
